Born in the lush landscapes of Bali, Jean-Luc’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Raised between the vibrant cities of Taipei and Singapore, he later pursued his education in France, where he developed a deep appreciation for both Asian and European cultures. After a successful career as a lawyer, Jean-Luc’s passion for discovery led him back to Asia, where he now channels his expertise into crafting extraordinary journeys for Kayumanis Getaways. Fluent in multiple Asian and European languages, Jean-Luc is renowned for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to create seamless, immersive travel experiences. As the leader of our Asia department, he inspires his team to deliver the very best in bespoke travel across the region.
Edward Beaumont
Head of Indian Ocean, East Africa & Europe Travel
Born in Paris to a family of global citizens, Edward’s childhood was shaped by adventure and purpose. When his parents took up long-term assignments with the United Nations, Edward spent nearly a decade immersed in the vibrant cultures and wild beauty of East Africa. From the savannahs of Kenya to the spice islands of Tanzania, he developed a deep appreciation for the region’s diversity and spirit.
After years living in Hong Kong, Spain, Portugal, and other major European cities, Edward built a successful career in international finance. Yet, the call of discovery and a longing for more meaningful connections drew him away from the boardroom and into the world of travel. A true polyglot and storyteller, Edward now leads the Indian Ocean, East Africa, and Europe travel section at Kayumanis Getaways. His extensive knowledge, personal experience, and passion for curating extraordinary journeys inspire his team—and ensure every guest’s adventure is nothing short of unforgettable.
